Enough Already
Posted by amyt , Dec, 2008 @ 11:17 amI guess it doesn’t help that us bloggers continue to post her ramblings, but Jennifer Aniston has got to stop talking. Yea, yea, the interviews come with another one of her “comebacks” as an actress, and she has to open up a little because it garners more attention for her projects, but as much as I like her, she just keeps coming off kind of pathetic by talking about a marriage that ended years ago while the other party has more than moved on.
CelebrityVIPLounge posted some snippets from Aniston’s recent GQ interview,
not in this one,
but in this one,
(those arms are very versatile) where she denies having John Mayer’s baby, feigns humor in going to the Hamptons with the Jolie-Pitts, and discusses her new movie, “Pumas,” which I’m assuming is about hot, old broads hooking up with younger guys. But my favorite thing about this post isn’t the insight into Jen’s world. Any blog that mentions “Angelina’s milk-filled teet,” “Brad’s porny guido-stache,” and “John Mayer’s constipation face” is awesome in my book.
So, back to Jen. Just stop. Just have fun with John and be private. For once, I don’t want a celebrity to answer the silly questions, for dignity’s sake. Put an end to the jokes and the digs and the gabbing. We all get it. Ending a marriage can be horrible and devastating, especially when it’s thrown into the headlines and the spotlight. Especially when that marriage was with Brad Pitt. Especially when Brad Pitt leaves you for another woman. Especially when Brad Pitt leaves you for Angelina Jolie. Especially when Brad Pitt adopts Angelina Jolie’s baby. Especially when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have a baby together. Especially when….okay, I totally understand now. Get it out, girl. Talk away.
